Fine Arts Publications (FAP)
Fine Art Publications, a design-oriented department staffed by Visual Communications students, serves the design needs for the School of Arts and Sciences, primarily art, music and theater. The staff includes an Art Director, Senior Designers and Junior Designers, with Rusty Nelson, Visual Communications Associate Professor of Art, as supervisor. Each designer works closely with clients and suppliers to produce posters, brochures, websites and other multimedia projects for the art, music and theater departments. Fine Art Publications is a useful learning environment for Visual Communications students to gain knowledge and experience in the design world. Working with real clients helps to prepare students for life in the professional world.
